USE AND LIMITATIONS
Gift cards can be redeemed on SHEIN to buy products and services, and only in the store where they were purchased: a card bought on Shein Spain can only be redeemed on the Shein Spain website, mobile site or app. They can only be redeemed for SHEIN products (sold by SHEIN Distribution Corporation), not for products from third-party sellers, and not to buy SHEIN CLUB memberships.
REDEEMING GIFT CARDS
Enter the card number and PIN at checkout: the amount will be deducted from the order total. If the order total exceeds the card balance, you can pay the rest with another payment method (credit or debit card, PayPal, etc.). Only one gift card can be redeemed per order; cards cannot be stacked or combined with other gift cards on the same order. The card can be linked to your Shein account: once linked, only the account holder can use it, the PIN is no longer required, and linking is permanent. If it is not linked to an account, it can be shared with a maximum of five different users.
CHECK BALANCE
You can check your gift card balance from your Shein account. Any balance left after a purchase can be used for future purchases. The balance cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash.
EXPIRY
Gift cards that are purchased have no expiry date. Cards that Shein issues free of charge may have a validity period (from 1 day to 3 months or more); once it ends, they can no longer be redeemed. The exact expiry/validity date, or the absence of one, will be shown on the document itself.
REFUNDS
To the extent permitted by applicable law, gift card purchases are non-refundable. If an order was paid with a gift card and a refund is requested, the part paid with the card is returned to the gift card itself (if you no longer have the card, you can see the refund in your email). If the order was paid with several payment methods, the refund is preferably made to the gift card, up to its original balance.
GIFT CARDS NOT RECEIVED
Once purchased, the card is sent to the email address given at purchase. If you do not receive it, it may be because the email was wrong, the mailbox is full, or your email provider blocks Shein emails; in that case, contact Shein Customer Service. Shein may take between 1 and 7 working days to verify that the payment method is secure.
LOST OR STOLEN GIFT CARDS
SHEIN is not responsible for gift cards that are lost, stolen or used without authorisation. Ownership and risk of loss pass to the holder at the time of sale, so protect your card number and PIN as if they were cash. If you suspect someone has copied or stolen your card, contact Shein Customer Service immediately.
FRAUD
Subject to applicable law, Shein reserves the right, without notice, to void gift cards without refund, suspend or terminate accounts, and cancel or limit orders if it suspects that a card was obtained, used or applied to an order fraudulently, unlawfully or in breach of these terms.
